Sam Pickard Forty Seasons Scarves
Since November 2010 I’ve documented the colours of plants, shells and birds, and published these alongside a drawing of the subject on my blog (Planet Sam).
What started as a reaction against global trend colour forecasting has become a valuable colour resource for my own design work.
This scarf collection has been inspired by the colours I’ve documented in the Pheasant, the Jay, the Woodpecker the Swallow, the Rook and most recently in 2018 the Bulfinch.
Every scarf is unique and will have its own character, pattern and colour balance, but will have two shades of pink, as well as black and grey. Please choose the option of either the stronger black outline or the softer grey outline in the options.
Hand printed by Sam Pickard in her North Devon studio.
