Inspired by the coastal grasslands of outstanding natural beauty here in North Devon, these cashmere scarves are handprinted by Sam in her North Devon workshop. Printed with sustainable *Procion dyes, the scarves are lightweight, wash fast and superbly soft to the touch... in moorland colours.

Bideford Black - deep warm dark grey
Heddons' blue - A dusky Indigo blue
Bracken brown - Bracken in the rain, a mid brown
Slate grey - A mid toned grey

*Procion dyes were developed for use in the textile industry in 1955 and unlike other synthetic textile dyes contain no heavy metals or toxic substances. They have exceptionally high wash fastness and good light fastness, giving them great durability. They are considered the cleanest of all the synthetic textile dyes and are classified by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (an international certification process) as eco-friendly.
